Tristan Abrahams scored twice as Maidenhead beat fellow strugglers AFC Fylde 4-1 in the Vanarama National League.
Fylde, playing their first game since Boxing Day, almost took an early lead when Craig Ross tipped Ethan Mitchell’s strike on to the crossbar.
But Abrahams put Maidenhead in front after good work from Reece Smith and Shawn McCoulsky’s fine solo effort made it 2-0 at half-time.
McCoulsky was involved in the build-up as Thierry Latty-Fairweather fired home the third and after Lincoln McFayden pulled one back, Abrahams rifled home his second to put the game beyond doubt.
