Premier League: Predictions for all five games on Saturday
Recommended bets:
- Newcastle to beat Bournemouth and both teams to score
- Tie/Liverpool - Half-Time/Full-Time against Brentford
- Fulham to beat Leicester & both teams to score
- Draw between West Ham and Crystal Palace
- Arsenal to beat Aston Villa and both teams to score
There are five Premier League matches taking place on Saturday, starting with Newcastle's clash against Bournemouth at St James' Park.
Newcastle vs Bournemouth (12.30pm)
Newcastle can emerge victorious to further boost their hopes of finishing in the top four this season, but Bournemouth are set to play their part on Saturday and can score at St James' Park.
The Cherries have a solid recent record on Tyneside, drawing on two of their last three trips there, and they have only failed to score in one of their last 15 games in all competitions.
Brentford vs Liverpool (3pm)
A theme of Liverpool's campaign has been stronger second-half performances and they may take a while to warm up at the Gtech Community Stadium this weekend too.
The Bees have gone in level at half-time in four of their last five games in all competitions and that pattern may well continue on Saturday before Liverpool are tipped to move through the gears in the second period.
Leicester vs Fulham (3pm)
Leicester should be confident of breaking their home goal drought against Fulham, who lost 3-2 at West Ham earlier this week, but the Cottagers have the attacking class to earn an entertaining win.
There have been goals at both ends in 13 of Fulham's last 15 league matches and they thumped Watford 4-1 with a much-changed team in last week's FA Cup third-round tie.
West Ham vs Crystal Palace (3pm)
Three of the last four Premier League meetings between West Ham United and Crystal Palace at the London Stadium have ended in draws and the stalemate is an appealing bet on Saturday.
The Eagles have lost only one of their last eight away games, a 3-2 Carabao Cup quarter-final reverse at Arsenal, and their results have improved as their early-season injury crisis has eased.
Arsenal vs Aston Villa (5.30pm)
Arsenal have seemed frail at the back recently. They have kept just two clean sheets in their last eight fixtures and could struggle to shut out a Villans side who have netted seven goals in their last four fixtures.
Both teams have scored in six of the Villa's last eight games, so expect goals at both ends at the Emirates but, with five defeats in their last six league away days, it could be a difficult return to the Emirates for former Gunners boss Unai Emery.
