Blackburn Rovers vs Preston North End (Friday, 8pm)

Blackburn have lost their last three matches and could struggle against Lancashire rivals Preston, who have won three of their last four.

Plymouth Argyle vs West Brom (Saturday, 12:30pm)

West Brom cruised to a 5-1 win over Portsmouth last week and should be far too strong for Plymouth, who remain in the bottom three despite a slight upturn in form under Miron Muslic.

Score prediction: West Brom 3-0 Plymouth

Watford vs Norwich City (Saturday, 12:30pm)

Watford look out of sorts and have lost their last two games, so do not be surprised if Norwich build on a decent post-Christmas run of 13 points from seven matches.

Derby County vs Sheffield United (Saturday,3pm)

Sheffield United suffered a shock defeat to Hull last week, but should bounce back comfortably against Derby, who have lost their last six Championship games and failed to score in their last three at Pride Park.

Score prediction: Derby 0-2 Sheffield United

Hull City vs Stoke City (Saturday, 3pm)

Stoke have won just one of their last 15 league games and look vulnerable against Hull, who can build on last week’s excellent 3-0 win at promotion-chasing Sheffield United.

Score prediction: Hull 2-0 Stoke

Leeds United vs Cardiff City (Saturday, 3pm)

Leeds have conceded just seven home league goals this season and, while Cardiff are unbeaten in their last eight games, this could be a step too far for the Bluebirds.
