Kobbie Mainoo was left in dreamland as his last-gasp goal ensured Manchester United edged a seven-goal thriller at Molineux. 

United raced ahead through the returning Marcus Rashford and summer signing Rasmus Hojlund but Pablo Sarabia's 71st-minute penalty set the stage for a storming finale. 

Scott McTominay made it 3-1 before Max Kilman pulled one back and Pedro Neto netted in stoppage time as Wolves appeared to have salvaged a draw. 

But Mainoo's first Premier League goal of the season broke home hearts and catapulted Erik ten Hag's men up to seventh in the table. 

Speaking to TNT Sports, United's match winner said: "It is a dream come true. It is a tough place to come. 

"We had to get the win. I have still not come down from it. I still feel like I am dreaming.

"To start playing in the Premier League for my boyhood club has been amazing. Now it's about trying to win more games."

Red Devils skipper Bruno Fernandes was quick to sing the praises of his fellow midfielder. 

Fernandes, 29, said: "He is a big talent. I said a couple of years ago the name of Kobbie without knowing if he would come and play for the first team.

"It was hard work and an amazing talent in the end that made us win."

Fernandes was also happy to see Rashford, who hit the headlines for the wrong reasons last weekend, return to the starting XI with a bang. 

He said: "We all have a point to prove every time we come on the pitch. Not only Marcus. 

"But obviously the guys up front have to score. Marcus is a special talent. He has been proving himself. 

"We are not in the position we want to be and we have to work hard to get there."
