Transfer Talk: Reds lead race for Dortmund wonderkid Moukoko
Liverpool are leading the race to sign Borussia Dortmund’s latest wonderkid Youssoufa Moukoko.
The 17-year-old forward is already a first-team regular for BVB and has started the campaign in superb form, scoring four times in 10 Bundesliga appearances.
Moukoko has featured in 16 games in all competitions and looks primed to be the latest superstar to come off Dortmund's prolific production line.
The Germany Under-21s international’s exploits have already attracted interest from some of Europe’s top clubs, with the Reds front of the queue according to Spanish outlet Sport.
Jurgen Klopp has been hugely impressed with the youngster's performances at his former club and sees him as a future star of his attack at Anfield.
With Darwin Nunez and Fabio Carvalho already brought recently, Moukoko's capture would give the option of fielding a youthful front three as Klopp prepares for life without Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino.
Dortmund are yet to secure the future of their talented teen, who is set to become a free agent when his contract expires at the end of the season.
But the Reds know landing his signature will not be easy with the likes of Barcelona, Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain all said to be watching closely.
