A late own goal gave Hartlepool a 2-1 win over Sutton in the Vanarama National League match at the VBS Community Stadium.
Sutton, chasing a third straight league win, had an early chance when Lewis Simper’s long-range effort was just wide.
Pools, who were four games without a league victory, went close when Nathan Sheron headed wide from Reyes Cleary’s cross.
The hosts went in front soon after the restart through Will Davies, who converted a cross from Dillon De Silva at close range.
Hartlepool, though, turned the match around after Gary Madine fired in a 76th-minute equalise, and then a corner went in off Sutton defender Jack Taylor with just three minutes left.
