Ipswich Town are yet to win a Premier League match at Portman Road since their return to the top flight although they claimed a creditable 1-1 draw with Manchester United in their last home fixture.

That followed a shock 2-1 win at Tottenham just before the November international break but Kieran McKenna's men must improve their home form if they are to stay in the Premier League.

Tuesday's visitors Crystal Palace are winless on the road but they have produced some improved performances in recent weeks, losing only one of their last six games in all competitions.

Team news

Ipswich Town hope to have Kalvin Phillips and Ben Johnson in the squad but Axel Tuanzebe is a doubt. George Hirst, Janoi Donacien and Chiedozie Ogbene are injured.

Crystal Palace forward Daichi Kamada serves the final game of his three-match suspension.

Midfielder Adam Wharton and defender Chadi Riad may not be risked as they continue to recover from injuries and Matheus Franca is still sidelined.

The stats

Ipswich have drawn four of their six home games in the Premier League this season

Four of the Tractor Boys' last five matches were level at half-time

Three of Ipswich's last five home league fixtures ended 1-1

Crystal Palace have drawn three of their last four league matches

Both teams have scored in four of Palace's last five games in all competitions

There have been goals at both ends in nine of the Eagles' last 10 away fixtures

Prediction

Ipswich are winless at home in the Premier League while Crystal Palace are yet to take three points on the road and the draw is an appealing bet on Tuesday.

The Tractor Boys have competed well on their return to the top flight but they have won only once in 13 games and suffered a frustrating 1-0 loss at Nottingham Forest on Saturday.

A soft penalty, converted by Forest's Chris Wood, proved decisive and Town may struggle to bounce back against an improving Palace side.

After a fine finish to last season, the Eagles have been hampered by injuries this term but they dominated Saturday's 1-1 draw with Newcastle at Selhurst Park.

Daniel Munoz scored an injury-time equaliser, having missed a sitter earlier in the game, and Palace have lost only one of their last six in all competitions.

That run includes a 2-1 EFL Cup win at Aston Villa and 2-2 draws with Wolves and Villa in the league so Oliver Glasner's men should be backed to pick up another point at Portman Road.
