After a thrilling midweek filled with European club action, it is back to domestic duties for clubs across the continent, with many players looking to continue their fine scoring starts to the season.

We have picked out five goalscorers to watch out for in Saturday and Sunday's top-flight fixtures from England, Spain, Italy, France and Germany.

Ipswich are still searching for their first league win of the campaign but Kieran McKenna will believe that these first three points will not be far away, providing Liam Delap continues his stunning early season form.

The Manchester City academy product has four league goals to his name this season — netting more than half of Ipswich’s league total of six — and he will fancy his chances of increasing his tally against a Brentford side without a home clean sheet so far this campaign.

RB Leipzig are level on points with Bayern Munich at the top of the Bundesliga table and face a tricky meeting with third-placed Freiburg on Saturday.

If any man is to have a say on proceedings, then forward Lois Openda could be that player for the Red Bulls. The Belgian leads the way in goals for his club with four in the league this season and he netted from the spot in this fixture last season.

Marshall Munetsi has scored three goals already this season and looks great value to his tally this weekend

Winger Keito Nakamura has starred for Reims in Ligue 1 this season, with five goals to his name already, although the odds favour looking away from the Japanese talent in the goalscorer market.

Midfielder Marshall Munetsi could therefore be the value option for the hosts. The Zimbabwean international has registered three goals so far in the league this season and found the net in his last home appearance — a 4-2 win over Montpellier.

Against the leakiest defence in LaLiga in the form of Valladolid, Villarreal could have a field day in front of goal and one man who will be eager to take any opportunity that falls his way is former Arsenal winger Nicolas Pepe.

The Ivorian has a goal and an assist to his name for the Yellow Submarine this season and only striker Gerard Moreno possesses a better shot on target per 90 minutes ratio than the 29-year-old (1.78).

He could finally get some joy in front of goal against a side that has conceded 21 goals in LaLiga so far.

While Parma may be above the bottom three by just a single point, they have shown their qualities in front of goal on plenty of occasions and could make home advantage count against Empoli.

Striker Ange-Yoan Bonny has been a shining light for the Crusaders with three goals and an assist this season and, after netting in the 1-1 draw at Como last time out, he will be brimming with confidence heading into Sunday’s fixture.
