A frustrating 2-1 defeat to Dinamo Zagreb in their final league phase contest meant Milan missed out on an automatic last-16 berth in this season's Champions League and they will have to battle through the knockout phase play-offs.

The first leg of their play-off tie takes them to De Kuip on Wednesday as they prepare to face a Feyenoord team struggling domestically.

Milan were reduced to 10 men after 39 minutes in their defeat to Dinamo Zagreb on matchday eight but it was nonetheless an underwhelming performance and they have won only two of their last four games.
