Joel Piroe fired a brace for Leeds at Stoke on Boxing Day

- Leeds and Sheffield United tied at the top of the table
- Plymouth and Cardiff tied at the bottom of the table
- Middlesbrough and West Brom hoping to sneak into the top six

The gruelling schedule continues in the Championship this weekend with all 24 teams in action on Sunday.

Leeds moved to the top of the table with a 2-0 win at Stoke on Boxing Day, and they will know the state of play when they face Derby in one of two evening fixtures.

The game of the day sees Middlesbrough play host to Burnley at 8pm, while Sheffield United host playoff-chasing West Brom at Bramall Lane.

Norwich vs QPR (Sunday, 12.30pm)

Norwich returned to winning ways with a 2-1 success over Millwall on Boxing Day and the Canaries have won three of their last four at home, scoring 13 goals in the process, so they should have too much clash for QPR.

Score prediction: Norwich 2-1 QPR

Preston vs Sheffield Wednesday (Sunday, 12.30pm)

Both Preston and Sheffield Wednesday have lost one of their last eight games in the Championship and a close match should be expected at Deepdale.

Score prediction: Preston 1-1 Sheffield Wednesday

Sheffield United vs West Brom (Sunday, 12.30pm)

The Blades were beaten 2-0 by Burnley last time out, but they face a Baggies side without a permanent boss and they have failed to win any of their last four on their travels.

Score prediction: Sheffield United 2-0 West Brom

Blackburn vs Hull (Sunday, 3pm)

Blackburn rescued a point at the death against Sunderland to keep their promotion hopes ticking over and they should have too much for a Hull team that have lost eight of their last 10 games.

Score prediction: Blackburn 2-0 Hull

Bristol City vs Portsmouth (Sunday, 3pm)

Ten points separate Bristol City and Portsmouth ahead of Sunday's meeting at Ashton Gate.

The Robins ended a four-match wait for a win when beating struggling Luton 1-0 on Boxing Day and they should have too much class for a Pompey side that are winless in six on the road.

Score prediction: Bristol City 1-0 Portsmouth

Coventry vs Millwall (Sunday, 3pm)

Coventry recorded a 4-0 win over Plymouth on Thursday to make it three wins in five games and that should help set them for the visit of Millwall, who have lost four of their last five matches.

Score prediction: Coventry 2-0 Millwall

Oxford vs Plymouth (Sunday, 3pm)

Oxford secured a morale-boosting 3-2 win over Cardiff in Gary Rowett's first game in charge and they should be able to overcome a hapless Plymouth, who are winless on the road this season.

Score prediction: Oxford 2-0 Plymouth

Stoke vs Sunderland (Sunday, 3pm)

Stoke are without a win in nine games in the second tier and with issues in attack, they will come up short against Sunderland, who are unbeaten in five.

Score prediction: Stoke 0-2 Sunderland

Swansea vs Luton (Sunday, 3pm)

Luton have started to slowly improve for Rob Edwards, but they have lost eight in a row in the Championship away from home and they would likely settle for a point against an inconsistent Swansea side.

Score prediction: Swansea 1-1 Luton

Watford vs Cardiff (Sunday, 3pm)

Two teams at opposite ends of the table meet at Vicarage Road and Watford should be able to outclass Cardiff.

The Hornets have only lost one of their last eight, while Cardiff are winless in nine.

Score prediction: Watford 2-1 Cardiff

Derby vs Leeds (Sunday, 5.45pm)

Two home wins in a row have boosted Derby's position in the table, but they were outclassed by Leeds at Elland Road earlier this month and the Whites are unbeaten in five.

Score prediction: Derby 0-1 Leeds

Middlesbrough vs Burnley (Sunday, 8pm)

Middlesbrough have been involved in back-to-back 3-3 draws and their inability to keep teams at bay means Burnley may prosper on the road.

Score prediction: Middlesbrough 1-3 Burnley
