Weekend acca predictions: Five teams to back across Europe on Sunday
Recommended bets
- Zwolle to beat Almere City
- Celta Vigo to beat Girona
- Roma to beat Venezia
- Lyon to beat Toulouse
- Eintracht Frankfurt to beat Holstein Kiel
After Europa League action dominated the midweek schedule, league football resumes for many of the continent’s top divisions this weekend.
Many of Europe’s clubs are in action on Sunday, including Roma who are looking to continue their unbeaten start under new manager Ivan Juric.
With the likes of Lyon and Eintracht Frankfurt also included, our five-fold pays out at 22.31/1 with LiveScore Bet.
Sunday, 11:15pm
Zwolle and Almere City occupy two of the bottom three spots in the Eredivisie but, given the visitors possess both the worst attack and defensive records this season, the hosts should be able to come out on top.
The Bluefingers have scored in all three home matches this season and ran second placed AZ Alkmaar close in their last home match. With Almere City failing to score on the road so far this season, a home win looks a decent bet.
Sunday, 1pm
While Celta Vigo may have lost four of their last five, they have won three of their four home matches in La Liga and should be more than strong enough against a Girona side failing to emulate the heroics of last season.
Girona have not scored in any of their last three matches in all competitions while Los Celestes are the joint-third top goalscorers in the division and should be too strong for the Gironistes.
Sunday, 2pm
Ivan Juric began his tenure as Roma boss with a comfortable 3-0 victory over Udinese last time out and he could make it back-to-back Serie A wins for the first time since March against Venezia on Sunday.
The visitors have failed to win any of their four matches on the road this season, losing three, and have already lost to Lazio at the Stadio Olimpico in this campaign. Their second trip to the Italian capital is unlikely to provide much more joy.
Sunday, 2pm
Lyon returned to winning ways in Europe with a 2-0 victory over Conference League champions Olympiacos and this could help spur them on to break their winless run in Ligue 1 when they travel to Toulouse.
The hosts have lost two of their last three matches and have not beaten Lyon in any competition since 2014. The dominance of the visitors in this fixture looks set to continue.
Sunday, 2:30pm
Holstein Kiel prop up the rest of the Bundesliga table with just one point accrued from their opening four matches and their early season misery looks set to continue against Frankfurt.
Die Adler are on a run of four games unbeaten in all competitions and have won each of their last three in the league. They should prove too good for the hosts, who have lost their opening two home Bundesliga fixtures by an aggregate score of 8-1.
