Kylian Mbappe's move to Real Madrid is edging closer according to reports

Kylian Mbappe will not extend his stay with Paris Saint-Germain for “all the gold in the world”.

Spanish outlet AS say that that the 22-year-old’s long rumoured switch to Real Madrid remains firmly on the cards this summer, with both player and club pulling in the same direction.

Mbappe’s contract in the French capital expires next June, meaning he will be free to move to the LaLiga giants — with the prospect of a January deal also not off the table entirely.

And a source exclusive to AS has now claimed that any late attempts from Les Parisiens to tie the winger down to a new deal will fall on deaf ears.

The source explains: “Mbappe has made a decision and money is the least of it.

“He would not renew with PSG for all the gold in the world as his decision has been made for a long time and nothing will change him.

“He wants to succeed in the Madrid and he will. He only has to wait until June 30 to see his dream come true.”

Los Blancos president Florentino Perez has been an admirer of Mbappe for several years and views him as the ideal candidate to be the new face of the LaLiga giants for years to come.

A move looked certain to happen this summer but no agreement was reached and the 2018 World Cup winner has instead remained with PSG.

The recent arrival of Lionel Messi from Barcelona has made the French side’s forwards ranks the envy of all in Europe — though Mbappe is supposedly far from happy with the perceived squad hierarchy this term.

Feeling that he has slipped behind both Messi and Neymar in the pecking order, the idea of playing a starring role in Madrid is thought to be of huge appeal.

Despite racking up five goals and four assists in his 10 league outings in 2021-22, it appears increasingly likely that this will be Mbappe’s final campaign in Paris.

ESPN believe that Paul Pogba is being touted around some of Europe’s biggest clubs by his agent Mino Raiola.

The Manchester United midfielder, 28, has supposedly been offered to Barcelona, Juventus, Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid — as well as several other Premier League sides.

Arsenal will make Everton and England forward Dominic Calvert-Lewin their number one target next summer, say Football London.

With both Alex Lacazette and Eddie Nketiah expected to leave the Gunners at the end of this season, 24-year-old Calvert-Lewin has been identified by Mikel Arteta and Edu as the ideal man to beef up their attacking ranks.

Manchester City could turn to Bayern Munich and Poland marksman Robert Lewandowski if they end up losing Raheem Sterling next summer, according to the Express.

With talk gathering regarding the potential departure of Sterling, City are considering potential replacements and have placed 33-year-old goal machine Lewandowski at the top of their wish list.
