Transfer Talk: Red Devils keen on Benfica teen Neves
Manchester United are exploring a move for teenage Benfica starlet Joao Neves.
Neves, 18, enjoyed an impressive breakthrough season with the Eagles last term, making 20 appearances, scoring once and providing one assist.
Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio says the Portuguese central midfielder — branded the "next Ruben Neves" — has caught the attention of the Red Devils.
United are yet to make a signing this transfer window but look set to wrap up a deal for Mason Mount after agreeing a fee with Chelsea for the midfielder.
Erik ten Hag also wants to build for the future and believes Neves could be a success at Old Trafford in years to come.
The Dutch coach is also said to be keen on Benfica striker Goncalo Ramos, who reportedly has a £69million release clause.
Ramos, 22, is one of Europe's most coveted goalscorers after netting 27 times in 47 games in all competitions last term.
