It's a landmark day for Scotland and boss Steve Clarke as they begin their Euro 2020 campaign against the Czech Republic

Euro 2020 has got off to an action-packed start and we’re looking forward to three more pulsating contests today.

Along with in-depth previews for each clash, we have the latest transfer gossip, a Euro Flashback feature and our weekly golf column for you to enjoy.

Euro 2020 match previews

With 19 goals in the first seven matches, Euro 2020 has already delivered its fair share of drama — and football fans around the globe will be hoping for more of the same today.

Scotland and Czech Republic do battle in the day’s opener, with both sides looking for three points to move them alongside England at the top of Group D.

It marks a first tournament finals game for the Scots in 23 years and Steve Clarke's men will be desperate to deliver a big performance for their long-suffering supporters at Hampden Park.

Poland get their Euro 2020 campaign under way against a Slovakia side expected to be the whipping boys of Group E.

Robert Lewandowski and Co will be bullish on their qualification prospects but know that they can ill afford to drop any points ahead of tricky clashes with Sweden and Spain.

Last but by no means least, this evening sees another of Europe’s powerhouses begin their tilt at glory when three-time winners Spain face dark horses Sweden.

La Roja won back-to-back championships in 2008 and 2012 before a last-16 exit in 2016 and boss Luis Enrique will hope his side are able to put recent coronavirus-related issues behind them.

Euro Flashback

As well as covering all the Euro 2020 action in unbeatable detail, our Euro Flashback series is your go-to for a regular slice of tournament nostalgia.

Today, we go all the way back to 1960 for the very definition of a goal-fest in the first edition of the tournament — when France and Yugoslavia played out a nine-goal thriller.

The contest remains the highest scoring in Euros history and features one of the all-time great turnarounds, so be sure to read all about it.
