Ruben Amorim's Manchester United kick off the fourth round against Leicester

- There are four all Premier League ties, including Aston Villa vs Tottenham
- League Two Doncaster are the lowest-ranked team left in the competition
- The 16 ties are spread across five days – Friday to Tuesday

The world's oldest cup competition returns this weekend, with the FA Cup reaching the fourth round.

At least four more Premier League teams will crash out at this stage, while four teams remain from outside the top two divisions – Wigan, Leyton Orient, Wycombe and Doncaster.

Manchester United vs Leicester (Friday, 8pm)

This is the third time these two sides have met this season, with Leicester boss Ruud van Nistelrooy in charge of holders United on both previous occasions.

The Red Devils have won the previous two games, scoring eight goals in the process and they will want to build on their success over Arsenal in the last round.

Score Prediction: Man Utd 2-1 Leicester

Leeds vs Millwall (Saturday, 12.15pm)

Leeds are unbeaten in 14 games in all competitions as they prepare to face a Millwall team that have won three on the spin.

The hosts' record at Elland Road makes them strong favourites, having won 13 of their last 14 home matches.

Score Prediction: Leeds 2-0 Millwall

Leyton Orient vs Manchester City (Saturday, 12.15pm)

League One Leyton Orient will look to cause Pep Guardiola's Manchester City problems
League One Leyton Orient will look to cause Pep Guardiola's Manchester City problems

League One Orient have taken 13 points from a possible 18 since the turn of the year, moving them into the play-off places.

City head to Brisbane Road after a 5-1 thumping at Arsenal last weekend, but have scored 16 goals in their last five FA Cup away matches.

Score Prediction: Leyton Orient 1-4 Man City

Coventry vs Ipswich (Saturday, 3pm)

This might be a Championship vs Premier League clash, but just 13 places separate the two sides in the football pyramid.

The Sky Blues had won four on the spin prior to the midweek defeat to Leeds, while Ipswich have lost four games on the bounce and their main target is top-flight survival.

Score Prediction: Coventry 2-1 Ipswich

Everton vs Bournemouth (Saturday, 3pm)

Bournemouth have secured a league double over Everton this term, but the Toffees look well set to gain some revenge.

Under David Moyes, Everton have won three on the bounce and in their last season at Goodison Park, will be desperate to have a good cup run.

Score Prediction: Everton 2-1 Bournemouth

Preston vs Wycombe (Saturday, 3pm)

The team 15th in the Championship host the club currently second in League One, with both sides in decent form.

Preston have lost just one of their last six matches and are unbeaten in nine at Deepdale, while Wycombe have lost just two away league games this term.

Score Prediction: Preston 3-2 Wycombe

Southampton vs Burnley (Saturday, 3pm)

Burnley boss Scott Parker may put Championship promotion over the FA Cup with his team selection at Southampton
Burnley boss Scott Parker may put Championship promotion over the FA Cup with his team selection at Southampton

These two teams could be swapping places next season, with Saints bottom of the Premier League and Burnley second in the Championship.

The visitors have not conceded a goal in their last five games, but with promotion their priority, they could make several changes and Southampton go into this off the back of a win over Ipswich last weekend.

Score Prediction: Southampton 2-1 Burnley

Stoke vs Cardiff (Saturday, 3pm)

Just one place and one point separate these two teams in the Championship, with both Stoke and Cardiff fighting to stay up.

The league game between the sides finished 2-2 in December, but Stoke come into this off the back of a crucial win at Hull, while Cardiff lost 7-0 at Leeds.

Score Prediction: Stoke 2-1 Cardiff

Wigan vs Fulham (Saturday, 3pm)

Wigan saw plenty of changes before the transfer window closed, but the major setback was losing leading scorer Thelo Aasgaard to Luton.

They now play a Fulham team who can concentrate on a good cup run and that has won their last two on the road.

Score Prediction: Wigan 0-2 Fulham

Birmingham vs Newcastle (Saturday, 5.45pm)

Carabao Cup finalists Newcastle will aim to avoid an FA Cup upset at Birmingham
Carabao Cup finalists Newcastle will aim to avoid an FA Cup upset at Birmingham

League One leaders Birmingham face Carabao Cup finalists Newcastle, with the hosts looking to create a big upset off the back 18 games without defeat.

However, Newcastle have won five on the spin away from home and will be full of confidence following their midweek victory over Arsenal.

Score Prediction: Birmingham 1-3 Newcastle

Brighton vs Chelsea (Saturday, 8pm)

Saturday evening sees another all-Premier League clash, as Brighton and Chelsea clash for their first of two meetings in two weeks.

There were six goals when these two teams met at Stamford Bridge in September and it could be a similar story on Saturday.

Score Prediction: Brighton 2-3 Chelsea

Blackburn vs Wolves (Sunday, 12.30pm)

Recent form suggests Blackburn's chances of springing a surprise are slim, with Rovers losing four of their last five matches.

Wolves won at Bristol City in the last round and are likely to name a strong side for the trip to Ewood Park.

Score Prediction: Blackburn 0-2 Wolves

Plymouth vs Liverpool (Sunday, 3pm)

Bottom of the Championship face top of the Premier League at Home Park, with this their first meeting since 2017.

Liverpool are likely to name a much-changed starting XI, but they head to the south coast having kept back-to-back clean sheets.

Score Prediction: Plymouth 0-2 Liverpool

Aston Villa vs Tottenham (Sunday, 5.35pm)

Neither Villa nor Spurs are in good form going into Sunday's clash, but the mounting injury problems for Tottenham suggest more woes for Ange Postecoglou.

Spurs have won the last two meetings between the sides, but Villa are unbeaten in 10 on home soil.

Score Prediction: Aston Villa 3-1 Tottenham

Doncaster vs Crystal Palace (Monday, 7.45pm)

It was hardly ideal preparation for Doncaster on Thursday, with the League Two promotion hopefuls losing 5-2 at Chesterfield.

Palace have lost just one of their last eight and have won their last three away games by the same scoreline, 0-2.

Score Prediction: Doncaster 1-4 Crystal Palace

Exeter vs Nottingham Forest (Tuesday, 8pm)

Nuno Espirito Santo will take his high-flying Nottingham Forest side to Exeter in the FA Cup
Nuno Espirito Santo will take his high-flying Nottingham Forest side to Exeter in the FA Cup

St James Park is normally a tricky place to visit, but Exeter face Premier League opposition without a win in their last five matches.

Forest are up to third in the top flight after a crushing 7-0 win over Brighton last week and can afford to make changes and still progress.

Score Prediction: Exeter 0-3 Nottingham Forest
