Fantasy football players can ill-afford to take their eye off the ball as we head into a hectic Premier League schedule, and we have reached Gameweek 16 already.

Here are five players you should be looking to get into your squad for a busy weekend of top-flight English action.

Alisson, Liverpool (Goalkeeper)

Alisson missed 11 Liverpool matches before returning from a hamstring injury against Girona in the Champions League on Tuesday and it makes sense to free up £5.4m and slot the Brazilian straight back into your line-up .

The Reds defence has been holding strong in his absence, keeping clean sheets in their last four home matches against Bayer Leverkusen, Real Madrid, Aston Villa and Manchester City, so Arne Slot’s team should be confident they can build on their four-point Premier League lead with another Merseyside shutout against Fulham on Saturday.

Daniel Munoz, Crystal Palace (Defender)

Crystal Palace have won just two of their 15 Premier League games, but they are unbeaten in four going into Sunday’s match at Brighton.

Colombian wing-back Daniel Munoz has played a key role in that run and scored in both of their recent home draws against Newcastle and Manchester City.

He has earned 50 points this season, 24 of which have come in the last three weeks after the Eagles kept a clean sheet at Ipswich in their last away match and he looks a snip at £4.7m.

Enzo Fernandez, Chelsea (Midfielder)

While Cole Palmer has been grabbing most of the headlines during Chelsea's move up to second in the Premier League, Enzo Fernandez has also made a strong recent contribution.

His goal in Sunday’s 4-3 win at Tottenham was his third in his last four games and the Argentinian has also chipped in with three assists in his last five outings.

The Blues’ clash with Brentford at Stamford Bridge looks set to be lively so there is another strong chance of an attacking return from a player available at just £5.0m.

Antoine Semenyo, Bournemouth (Midfielder)

Bournemouth’s Antoine Semenyo, who is available at £5.7m, has been quiet since scoring in Bournemouth’s 2-1 win over Manchester City in Week 10 but he could flourish against West Ham on Monday.

The Ghanaian midfielder has had 58 goal attempts this season and 20 of them have come in his last four outings, so a fifth Premier League goal of the campaign may not be far away, and facing a team with the joint-fourth leakiest defence in the English top flight should offer opportunities.

Matheus Cunha, Wolves (Forward)

A price of £7.1 may be quite modest for a forward, but Wolves’ Matheus Cunha is worth considering even though he has gone three weeks without an attacking contribution.

The main issues for Gary O’Neil have been defensive as the team who are second from bottom have scored as many goals as sixth-placed Aston Villa.

Cunha has had at least two efforts on goal in all but two of his 14 Premier league starts this season and he should be at the forefront as they face fellow bottom-three occupants Ipswich in a Molinuex showdown that the Old Golds simply have to win.
