- Chelsea the leading scorers in the Premier League with 35 goals in 15 matches
- Brentford have picked up only one of their 23 points away from home
- Recommended bet: Chelsea to win & both teams to score

Chelsea have made a fine start to the Enzo Maresca era and their only Premier League defeats this season have come against champions Manchester City and leaders Liverpool.

The Blues are the most prolific team in the top flight going into this weekend's fixtures, racking up 35 goals in 15 games under former Leicester boss Maresca.

Their forwards should be confident of adding to that tally against a Brentford side who have been outstanding at home this term but who have picked up only one point from seven away matches.

Team news

Chelsea sent a youthful squad to Kazakhstan for Thursday's Conference League win over Astana, so their senior players should be fresh.

Winger Pedro Neto is suspended after picking up five yellow cards and Reece James, Wesley Fofana and Omari Kellyman are injured.

Brentford will assess the fitness of Vitaly Janelt, Rico Henry and Mathias Jensen, but Joshua Dasilva and Aaron Hickey remain sidelined.

Eight of Yoane Wissa's nine Premier League goals this season have been scored on home turf.

The stats

Chelsea have won their last four Premier League matches, while both teams have scored in nine of the Blues' last 10 league games.

Chelsea have conceded the first goal in six of their last 10 league matches, with the Bees having scored 13 goals in the first 30 minutes of league matches this season.

Brentford have scored in their last five away defeats in the Premier League and three of their last six away fixtures have ended in 2-1 defeats.

Prediction

Chelsea stretched their winning streak in all competitions to six matches by beating Astana 3-1 on Thursday's epic Conference League trip to Kazakhstan.

That fixture offered an opportunity for fringe players in the Blues' capacious squad, but the big hitters will return for Sunday's clash with west London rivals Brentford.

Chelsea have beaten Leicester 2-1, Aston Villa 3-0, Southampton 5-1 and Tottenham 4-3 in their last four league matches and another high-scoring victory is on the cards against the Bees.

Only the Blues had scored more league goals than Brentford's 31 at the start of this round of fixtures, but the Bees have done all their best work at home.

Thomas Frank's men have earned only one of their 23 points on the road, although they have scored in their last five away defeats at Manchester City, Tottenham, Manchester United, Fulham and Aston Villa.

Buoyed by last weekend's 4-2 home win over Newcastle, Brentford are capable of landing a blow on the home defence, but Chelsea, who have been playing with real swagger in recent weeks, should claim maximum points.
