For the first time in 2025 we have a full weekend slate from each of Europe’s top divisions, meaning we have a packed couple of days ahead.

We have picked out five teams worth backing across Europe's biggest leagues this weekend. The five-fold pays out at over 48/1 with LiveScore Bet.

Sunday, 1pm

Celta Vigo have a decent record at home, but they’ve got a poor return against LaLiga’s top sides. The hosts have lost four of their five clashes with Spain’s top five, including a 3-1 loss in Bilbao.

Athletic have picked up four victories on their travels this season, while they’ve won five of their previous six league games. The Basque outfit are making good progress towards a top four finish and that should continue in this trip.

Sunday, 2:30pm

Mainz lost out at Bayer Leverkusen in midweek but they can bounce back at Union Berlin. The hosts have lost eight of their previous 10, while they’ve lost three on the bounce ahead of this clash.

Mainz have scored three goals in six of their eight away trips so far and they boast a 100% record against sides in the bottom half. Take the visitors to get their European push back on track.

Sunday, 4:15pm

Angers have picked up some momentum, with the strugglers securing a fourth win on the bounce in midweek. They took advantage of bottom side Montpellier in Ligue 1 last weekend and their winning run can extend through this clash with Auxerre.

The visitors have built their survival push on home form, but they’re in poor shape on the road. They’ve already lost to each of the bottom four on their travels and they’ve suffered six defeats from eight away games overall.

Sunday, 5pm

Lazio are in shaky form but a clash with fourth-bottom Verona can get their Champions League push back on track. The Biancocelesti have won four of their five visits to teams in the bottom half.

Verona lost 2-0 to Napoli last weekend, their seventh straight loss against the current top seven. The hosts have been beaten in three of their last four at home, scoring just once. Take Lazio to inflict more issues onto the strugglers.

Sunday, 6pm

Estrela are fifth from bottom in the Primeira Liga and visitors Braga should make short work of them. The away side won at Benfica in their last league trip, leaving them with six wins from eight on the road.

Estrela have lost three of their first nine home games but they’re yet to meet any of the top five at their own ground. They’ve played each of the top seven once so far, losing five and drawing twice.
