Alexander Isak has scored in eight successive Premier League games for Newcastle

- Newcastle have won their last nine matches in all competitions
- Leicester have lost six successive Premier League fixtures
- Brighton have won five of their last six league meetings with Manchester United

After a full midweek schedule, the Premier League action continues to come thick and fast with Arsenal hoping to make ground on leaders Liverpool in the pick of this weekend’s fixtures at home to Aston Villa.

That is one of five top-flight matches taking place on Saturday, with a red-hot Newcastle bringing up the curtain against Bournemouth at St James' Park at lunchtime.

There are four fixtures scheduled for Sunday, with Manchester United bidding to build on their midweek win over Southampton against Brighton, while Chelsea and Wolves conclude affairs from Stamford Bridge on Monday.

We have correct-score picks for all 10 Premier League matches.

Newcastle vs Bournemouth (Saturday, 12.30pm)

Newcastle are looking to make it 10 straight wins in all competitions and they can bring up that impressive total at their fortress St James’ Park. That said, Bournemouth have some excellent attacking players and can score in an eighth straight away league game.

Score prediction: Newcastle 2-1 Bournemouth

Brentford vs Liverpool (Saturday, 3pm)

Leaders Liverpool should get back to winning ways at Brentford, who have failed to win in three home games and have conceded twice in meetings with Nottingham Forest, Arsenal and Manchester City. The Reds have kept only one league clean sheet in seven.

Score prediction: Brentford 1-3 Liverpool

Leicester vs Fulham (Saturday, 3pm)

Six successive defeats have relegation looking increasingly likely for Leicester and more misery may follow at the expense of Fulham, who have suffered only one loss in nine. The Foxes have fired blanks in three straight home games.

Score prediction: Leicester 0-2 Fulham

West Ham vs Crystal Palace (Saturday, 3pm)

New West Ham boss Graham Potter takes aim at a second successive Premier League win
New West Ham boss Graham Potter takes aim at a second successive Premier League win

Graham Potter claimed his first win as West Ham manager in a 3-2 victory at home to Fulham on Tuesday but he may have to settle for a point against improving Crystal Palace, who are unbeaten in six away league games.

Score prediction: West Ham 1-1 Crystal Palace

Arsenal vs Aston Villa (Saturday, 5.30pm)

Despite Wednesday’s 2-1 win at home to North London rivals Tottenham, Arsenal are way below their best and this could be a tricky test against Aston Villa. Goals look assured and Villa were shock winners at the Emirates last season.

Score prediction: Arsenal 2-2 Aston Villa

Everton vs Tottenham (Sunday, 2pm)

Everton lost 1-0 at home to Aston Villa in the first game of David Moyes' second spell at the club and this should be a low-scoring contest against Tottenham. Confidence is low in the Spurs camp following six defeats in eight league matches.

Score prediction: Everton 1-1 Tottenham

Manchester United vs Brighton (Sunday, 2pm)

Manchester United needed a late hat-trick from Amad Diallo to beat bottom club Southampton 3-1 on Thursday and they are vulnerable at home to Brighton, who have won five of the last six league meetings between the pair.

Score prediction: Manchester United 1-2 Brighton

Nottingham Forest vs Southampton (Sunday, 2pm)

Nottingham Forest are surprise title contenders under Nuno Espirito Santo
Nottingham Forest are surprise title contenders under Nuno Espirito Santo

Highflying Nottingham Forest had won their previous five games to nil before a creditable 1-1 draw at home to Liverpool on Tuesday and they can ease past Southampton, who look destined for a tenth away defeat of the season.

Score prediction: Nottingham Forest 2-0 Southampton

Ipswich vs Manchester City (Sunday, 4.30pm)

Manchester City threw away a 2-0 lead to draw 2-2 at Brentford in midweek and a clean sheet may evade them at Ipswich. The Tractor Boys have won only one of their 11 home matches in the Premier League but they can breach a City defence that have kept only two clean sheets in 12.

Score prediction: Ipswich 1-3 Manchester City

Chelsea vs Wolves (Monday, 8pm)

Chelsea outclassed Wolves 6-2 at Molineux in August and they can record another entertaining victory in the return fixture. The Blues should get back to winning ways against a leaky Wolves defence that has conceded eight goals in three matches.

Score prediction: Chelsea 3-1 Wolves
