Liverpool are ready to break their transfer record in order to land England starlet Jude Bellingham.

The Borussia Dortmund midfielder, 18, is under contract with the Bundesliga side until 2025.

But the Reds are willing to match a £90million price tag to get their man.

The Mirror claim Jurgen Klopp is looking for a long-term midfield option with Jordan Henderson, Thiago Alcantara and James Milner all in their 30s.

Klopp has identified Bellingham as his first choice and the Anfield club are now lining up an offer likely to exceed the £75m paid for Virgil van Dijk.

Dortmund are reluctant to see Bellingham leave Signal Iduna Park having only signed him in July 2020.

The German giants are also expecting to see Erling Haaland exit the club next summer and are keen to limit their losses.

Nevertheless, Klopp's Dortmund links and Bellingham's eagerness to follow in Jadon Sancho's footsteps by returning to England could force BVB's hand.

Manchester United and Tottenham have joined the race to sign Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger.

The German centre-back, 28, is out of contract in the summer and Real Madrid are said to be in pole position to secure his signature.

According to the Independent, both Rudiger and Chelsea would favour a move abroad if a contract extension cannot be agreed.

But Premier League rivals United and Spurs are reportedly waiting in the wings should a switch to the Bernabeu not materialise.

Blues boss Thomas Tuchel has not given up hope of keeping Rudiger — and he also wants Hakim Ziyech and Timo Werner to remain at Stamford Bridge.

Both attackers are being eyed by Barcelona, with new coach Xavi desperate to bolster his attacking options.

But Sport say Tuchel has halted any negotiations and is determined to keep hold of the talented pair.

Champions League contenders Ajax are keen to agree a loan deal for Manchester United goalkeeper Dean Henderson.

The 24-year-old England international has fallen out of favour at Old Trafford after seeing David de Gea rediscover his best form.

And former Red Devils keeper Edwin van der Sar, who is now Ajax's chief executive, is ready to broker a temporary switch, according to the Manchester Evening News.

Henderson is keen to get back to first-team action and a short-term transfer could work well for both parties.
