- Plymouth have shipped 62 goals which is higher than any other EFL club
- Argyle have conceded at least two goals in 11 of their last 14 league matches
- Recommended bet:
West Brom to score over 1.5 goals

Plymouth busted a few coupons last weekend by posting a 2-2 draw away to highflying Sunderland and they will hope to spring another surprise when tackling promotion-chasing West Brom at Home Park.

Achieving Championship survival is going to be a tough task for the Pilgrims, who have not won a league game since November and find themselves four points adrift at the foot of the standings.

But Miron Muslic's side must have taken heart from their performance on Wearside, where they went toe-to-toe with one of the top teams in the division.

Argyle's main problem has been their inability to keep clean sheets.

And they might be a little fearful of West Brom, who make the trip to Devon full of confidence after last Saturday's 5-1 success at home to Portsmouth.

Team news

Plymouth are still stretched at the back with Kornel Szucs (muscle strain), Brendan Galloway (hip) and Joe Edwards (hamstring) out of contention. Nathanael Ogbeta came off the bench to score in last Saturday's 2-2 draw at Sunderland and is hoping for a promotion to the starting eleven.

West Brom are still missing top scorer Josh Maja, who is sidelined until April with a calf problem. Daryl Dike, Semi Ajayi (both leg) and Kyle Bartley (calf) are also unavailable, but Jayson Molumby (illness) could return and January signing Isaac Price is pushing for a start after coming off the bench to make his Albion debut last weekend.

The stats

Plymouth have gone 15 Championship games without winning, while Argyle have conceded the first goal in each of their last four home games.

The hosts have not kept a clean sheet in any of their last seven home fixtures, and a lively affair is expected as both teams have scored in seven of West Brom's previous eight games.

Three of West Brom's last six matches have featured at least four goals.

West Brom have kept four consecutive clean sheets in matches against Plymouth.

Prediction

West Brom climbed back into the playoffs with last Saturday's 5-1 triumph at home to Portsmouth and can show off their offensive prowess by scoring a few goals against the Championship basement boys.

Albion finished last weekend as the second-lowest scorers among the top six, but they have looked a lot more attack-minded since appointing Tony Mowbray for his second spell in the Baggies' dugout.

Mowbray went with an ultra-attacking 4-4-2 setup for last weekend's fixture against Portsmouth and watched his team race into a 4-0 half-time lead.

He should persist with an offensive approach and that could be bad news for Plymouth, who continue to struggle with their defensive work.

Argyle have conceded seven goals across their last two matches and appear likely to ship at least a couple against an Albion side eager to consolidate top-six status.
