Francis Okoronkwo struck at the death as Salford made it four League Two games unbeaten with a 2-2 draw at Fleetwood.

Substitute Okoronkwo turned home a low cross from Kelly N’Mai in the sixth minute of added time to break the home fans’ hearts and steal a point.

It was Karl Robinson’s team who took the lead in the 17th minute with a goal-of-the-season contender from Ben Woodburn.

The Wales international stole the ball in the middle of the park before quite expertly lobbing home goalkeeper David Harrington from around 35 yards.

That woke the home side up though and they fought back well to level just before the end of the first half.

Some brilliant work down the right from wing-back Carl Johnston forced a save from Jamie Jones but the keeper could only fumble the ball into the path of Ronan Coughlan, who tapped home from barely a yard out for his fifth league goal of the campaign.

Just after the hour mark, Fleetwood thought they had done enough to win it when substitute Mark Helm reacted quickest to a goalmouth scramble but it turned out that it was not going to be enough to take all three points as Okoronkwo struck.
