Juventus are yet to lose in Serie A under manager Thiago Motta

- Leaders Napoli hold a two-point lead over second-placed Inter Milan
- Juventus are the only team yet to taste defeat in Serie A this season
- Monza are yet to pick up a league win and sit in 19th position

The Serie A season has reached the eighth round of fixtures and there is another action-packed schedule taking place over the weekend, starting with a relegation battle at Stadio Giuseppe Sinigaglia.

We have previewed every game in the Italian top tier over the coming days.

Como vs Parma (Saturday, 2pm)

Como's three-game unbeaten streak was ended by Napoli last time out, going down 3-1 on the road, but they should be able to get back to winning ways at the expense of a Parma side that are without a win in five matches.

Score prediction: Como 2-1 Parma

Genoa vs Bologna (Saturday, 2pm)

Genoa have lost four matches in a row in all competitions and a fifth defeat could be coming when they host Bologna, who have drawn four and won one of their last five Serie A assignments.

Score prediction: Genoa 0-2 Bologna

AC Milan vs Udinese (Saturday, 5pm)

Udinese have impressed this season, picking up six victories from nine matches in all competitions, and they will provide a stern challenge for hosts AC Milan, who have lost their last two fixtures.

But the Rossoneri have been strong at home, with Liverpool the only team to beat them at the San Siro this season and they may just be able to edge this one.

Score prediction: AC Milan 2-1 Udinese

Juventus vs Lazio (Saturday, 7.45pm)

Juventus remain unbeaten in the league, winning three and drawing four, but that record will be put to the test when they host a Lazio side that are on a four-game winning streak.

Both of these sides have collected 13 points from seven matches and they could end up cancelling each other out.

Score prediction: Juventus 1-1 Lazio

Empoli vs Napoli (Sunday, 11:30am)

Antonio Conte has guided Napoli to top spot in Serie A

Since losing 3-0 to Verona on the opening weekend, Napoli have since embarked on a six-game unbeaten run in the league to move to the top of the table.

Empoli will be no easy pushovers, though, with all three of their home Serie A matches ending in 0-0 draws. Expect this to be tight before Napoli's quality gets them over the line.

Score prediction: Empoli 0-1 Napoli

Lecce vs Fiorentina (Sunday, 2pm)

Lecce, only above the relegation zone on goal difference, are without a win in their last five games in all competitions and they will struggle to contain a Fiorentina side that have beaten Lazio and AC Milan as part of a three-game unbeaten run in the league.

Score prediction: Lecce 0-2 Fiorentina

Venezia vs Atalanta (Sunday, 2pm)

Rock-bottom Venezia have lost four of their last five matches and they now host free-scoring Atalanta, who have scored 11 goals in their last four games in all competitions and are on a three-match unbeaten streak.

Score prediction: Venezia 0-3 Atalanta

Cagliari vs Torino (Sunday, 5pm)

A three-game unbeaten run in all competitions has helped Cagliari climb out of the relegation zone and they can continue their strong form when hosting Torino, who have lost their last three fixtures and are struggling for confidence.

Score prediction: Cagliari 2-1 Torino

Roma vs Inter Milan (Sunday, 7.45pm)

Roma's form dipped before the international break, losing 1-0 to Elfsborg in the Europa League and then drawing 0-0 at winless Monza, and that spells trouble for Sunday's visit of Inter Milan.

Inter have won their last three games in all competitions and find themselves just two points behind leaders Napoli. The visitors should have enough to get the win at the Stadio Olimpico.

Score prediction: Roma 1-2 Inter Milan

Hellas Verona vs Monza (Monday, 7.45pm)

Monza are the only team yet to pick up a league win this term and given the fact they have not won away from home in the league since March, that statistic does not look like it will change when they head to Hellas Verona.

Two of Verona's three Serie A wins have come on home soil and they can chalk up another victory at Marcantonio Bentegodi.

Score prediction: Hellas Verona 2-0 Monza
