None of the Championship top three won last week with leaders Leeds United drawing with third-placed Burnley while Sheffield United suffered a 3-0 loss at home to Hull City, so they will all want to rediscover their winning touch.

Blackburn have lost their last three matches and could struggle against Lancashire rivals Preston, who have won three of their last four.

Oxford United are loving life under Gary Rowett and are unbeaten in their last nine games, but City stand five points above them in the league, so should not be easily dismissed.

West Brom cruised to a 5-1 win over Portsmouth last week and should be far too strong for Plymouth, who remain in the bottom three despite a slight upturn in form under Miron Muslic.

Watford vs Norwich City (Saturday, 12:30pm)
Watford look out of sorts and have lost their last two games, so do not be surprised if Norwich build on a decent post-Christmas run of 13 points from seven matches.

Sheffield United suffered a shock defeat to Hull last week, but should bounce back comfortably against Derby, who have lost their last six Championship games and failed to score in their last three at Pride Park.

Stoke have won just one of their last 15 league games and look vulnerable against Hull, who can build on last week’s excellent 3-0 win at promotion-chasing Sheffield United.

Leeds United vs Cardiff City (Saturday, 3pm)
Leeds have conceded just seven home league goals this season and, while Cardiff are unbeaten in their last eight games, this could be a step too far for the Bluebirds.

Millwall vs QPR (Saturday, 3pm)
Millwall have claimed away wins at strugglers Luton and Portsmouth recently, but this is a much tougher test against the Hoops, who are aiming to claim a third straight away victory.

Portsmouth lost their last home game against Millwall, but they dropped just two points from the previous seven, so they can earn something against the promotion-chasing Clarets, who are struggling for goals.
